Lockdown hasn’t stopped the achievements for the team here at Clark Integrated Technologies. We’ve reached the finals of the Scottish Rural Awards 2020.
We’ve been recognised for our work helping rural businesses stay on top of the technology challenges which non city-based firms can face due to their location.
The Scottish Rural Awards are designed to celebrate the best businesses delivering solutions to rural areas, ensuring they remain competitive whilst still retaining their place within the countryside of Scotland.
Our managing director Austen Clark says, “This nomination reflects the work we’ve been doing for years to enable rural businesses and their workers to stay in the location and environment that they choose, and to be able to compete with their city based competitors. Of course, it’s even more topical following the lockdown situation we’ve all been in recently. I’m proud that we’ve enabled our client businesses and their teams to continue working from rural locations throughout. Many employees who work in Aberdeen for example live in a much more rural area and it’s been important for us to facilitate their home working during the pandemic.”
We have been shortlisted in the Best Rural Employer category. It’s a highly coveted accolade where the company competes alongside many of Scotland’s finest small businesses. The upcoming Scottish Rural Awards will be judged by a respected panel of industry leaders who will thoroughly evaluate each candidate before deciding on a winner.
For us, simply being nominated is a significant recognition of he hard work and dedication of our whole team over the years, as well as our emphasis on innovation, which has seen us experience continual growth for over 25 years. Whether seeking assistance with IT Business Solutions, Migrating to Cloud Operation or developing a robust Cyber Security program, the Clark IT team helps clients reach their most ambitious goals.
“We are so proud to have been included in this group of outstanding nominees,” continues Austen Clark. “Simply being nominated for this award is an honour, and we are so glad that is recognises our continued support for rural businesses.”
